Everyone is familiar with sports betting, even if they don’t think so. After all, if you and some pals make a friendly wager about the winner of a game you’re following, or if you contribute a dollar to the office pool and speculate on the final score of your team’s championship game, that’s as much of a sports bet as if you had contacted a bookie in Las Vegas. But there’s an undoubted difference between a casual bet just to participate with your coworkers and placing a bet on sports through an official betting agency or internet sportsbook organization.
